Kano state Government approves N90m for road maintenance

The Kano State Government said on Wednesday that it had approved N90 million for roads maintenance in Kano metropolis.
The State Commissioner for Information, Dr Umar Faruk, said this in Kano when he addressed newsmen on the outcome of the State Executive Council meeting.
Faruk said the council had also approved N5.9 million for the implementation of immunisation plus days in Kano.
He said the council also approved N14.9 million for the building of police outpost, observation tower, wall fence and culvert at Kofar Nasarawa, in Kano metropolis.

“The council also approved N370,000 for the provision of ECOWAS passport for 100 students that are studying in Niamey, Niger Republic,” he said.
The commissioner said that N26 million was also approved for the construction of road networks within Zoo Road Housing Estate, Kano.
