Eight people reported dead in murder, suicide in Missouri
Eight people were found dead overnight in an apparent mass murder and suicide in rural southern Missouri, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said on Friday.
Seven people were thought to be victims of one man who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to a statement by the highway patrol. One elderly woman was found dead of what appeared to be natural causes during an investigation.
The events unfolded around 10 p.m. Thursday night when the Texas County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call about a disturbance involving a weapon at a residence in Tyrone. A girl called authorities, saying she had fled to a neighbor's house after hearing gunshots in her home.

Buhari’s full speech at Chatham House
Permit me to start by thanking Chatham House for the invitation to
talk about this important topic at this crucial time. When speaking
about Nigeria overseas, I normally prefer to be my country’s public
relations and marketing officer, extolling her virtues and hoping to
attract investments and tourists. But as we all know, Nigeria is now
battling with many challenges, and if I refer to them, I do so only to
impress on our friends in the United Kingdom that we are quite aware of
our shortcomings and are doing our best to address them.
The 2015 general election in Nigeria is generating a lot of interests within and outside the country. This is understandable. Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country and largest economy, is at a defining moment, a moment that has great implications beyond the democratic project and beyond the borders of my dear country.
So let me say upfront that the global interest in Nigeria’s landmark election is not misplaced at all and indeed should be commended; for this is an election that has serious import for the world. I urge the international community to continue to focus on Nigeria at this very critical moment. Given increasing global linkages, it is in our collective interests that the postponed elections should hold on the rescheduled dates; that they should be free and fair; that their outcomes should be respected by all parties; and that any form of extension, under whichever guise, is unconstitutional and will not be tolerated.

The former Head of State who stood for more than one hour to address and answer questions, also said that he takes full responsibility for whatever happened under his watch as a military dictator in Nigeria between 1983 to 1985. Here are some of the words of Buhari culled from the official Twitter handle of Chatham House, Africa, @ChathamHouse National Assembly members will remain relevant in their constituencies, so I do not want to touch salaries now!: @ThisIsBuhari #CHAfrica Change is coming democratically for Africa. Now, ISIS selling human organs of slain people to finance itself?
In yet another gut-wrenching revelation, the barbaric extremist group Islamic State in Iraq and Syria is said to be selling human organs of slain victims to boost its finances.
If an Iraqi diplomat is to be believed, the ISIS is now resorting to organs trafficking to shore up its tottering finances.
The shocking claim was made by Iraqi ambassador to the United Nations Mohamed Alhakim, who urged the United Nations to investigate the murder of a dozen of doctors in Mosul, who were killed after they refused to operate on dead bodies and take out key organs to be sold in Europe's black market, the CNN reported.

17yr old boy shared photos before he commits suicide by jumping into a river
By LindaIkeji
Seeing the smile on his face, you would think everything was fine with him but that's the smile of a young man about to end his life. He posted the pic on the left on instagram and wrote "I'm here" and on the pic on the right, he wrote "Smile. You've lived". 'I'm here' was him basically telling his followers that he'd arrived at the destination of his suicide. His final photo was a pic of his watch &he wrote "Time to see if my watch is waterproof" A few minutes after posting the pics and messages, he jumped from that rail you see in the pic into the Detroit River. His body was found a few hours later.
His name was Billy Watts and he was from Detroit. He'd suffered depression for many months which he openly talked about on instagram. He talked about how some people can't get out of depression no matter how much they try. This happened in October 2014.

Nigeria army 'kills 300 Boko Haram fighters'
BBC reports
More than 300 Boko Haram fighters have been killed in military operations in north-east Nigeria, the army says.
A number of militants had also been captured and weapons and equipment seized, defence spokesman Chris Olukolade said. Two soldiers had lost their lives and 10 others were wounded during the operation over the last two days in Borno state, he added.
The deaths have not been independently verified.
Nigerian forces have been accused of overstating enemy casualties in the past.
Boko Haram attacks on civilians and the military have killed thousands since the group launched its violent campaign for a breakaway Islamic state in 2009.
Nigeria, Chad, Cameroon and Niger have recently formed a military coalition and have claimed gains against the group.

10 Tips For A Flat Stomach
1. Choose healthier foods.
The foods you eat have a huge impact on what your body does with it and
what your body looks like. Too many fats, too much protein, too little
vitamins and the wrong balance of nutrients can lead to to stomach fat
and other issues. Choose your foods wisely and you will start to see
results!
2. Commit to living a healthier life. All of the exercising and dieting in the world can only do so much and go so far. If you are not committed to maintaining a healthy lifestyle any success you find will be short lived. You need to be in it for the long haul in order to find true success.
3. Opt for smaller portion sizes. Many people struggle with stomach flab because we eat more than what we need to. Pay attention to the serving sizes. Cereal may be only one cup service size, not a bowl full. We get many extra calories by ignoring the suggested serving size on many of the foods that we eat each and every day.
Niger Troops Sent To 'Crush' Boko Haram
Parliament unanimously approves deployment of troops as part of a regional offensive against armed group.
The announcement late on Monday night came a day after a senior Nigerian official said Abuja's government would "take out" all of the group's camps by March 28 - the new date for the country's elections which have been delayed by six weeks.
Niger, while housing thousands of refugees who fled from the conflict, had been mainly spared the violence until last week, with a number of attacks carried out on its territory in recent days.
"The pooling of the efforts and resources of concerned countries will contribute without doubt to crushing this group which shows scorn, through its barbaric acts, for the Muslim religion," Niger National Assembly President Adamou Salifou said after the vote, according to the AFP news agency.
Another member of parliament said the resolution authorised the country to send some 750 troops to Nigeria.
PDP Can Postpone The Election But They Can't Postpone Christmas- Adams Oshiomhole
Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole has said the May 29 handing over date in which the People Democratic Party, PDP, led Federal Government will possibly hand over to the All Progressives Congress, APC, cannot be postponed despite the postponement of the February polls by six weeks.
Oshiomole gave this remark in Benin City when he welcomed some PDP defectors into the fold of APC. He said: “You heard what happened. They said they have postponed the elections. Few days back, they called us for a meeting of the Council of States and we said they should go ahead and conduct the elections. In any event, we are not the only country with security challenges. Even in Afghanistan and Iraq, elections were held.
