Robin Thicke and Paula Patton have had their divorce finalised in Los Angeles.
The Precious actress, 39, and Blurred Lines singer, 38, announced they were separating last year after nine years of marriage.They have a four-year-old son.
Thicke used several public appearances and his latest album, titled Paula, to try to win Patton back.
His wife has been the inspiration behind much of his music and appeared in some of his videos.
The couple's legal split will come into effect on 14 April.
Last week, Thicke and Pharrell Williams were ordered to pay Marvin Gaye's family £4.85m after a judge ruled they copied the late singer's song, Got To Give It Up.
