I will pick only fit players for Tanzania clash – Oliseh

Head coach of the Super Eagles, Sunday Oliseh, has insisted that he will assess all invited players when training resumes on Tuesday in Abuja.
The former national team captain has made it clear that he will only pick players that are fit for this weekend’s AFCOB 2017 qualifier against Tanzania.
“We will assess every player before the game and only fit players will be listed to represent the country,” Oliseh told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“Lukman missed two games with Anzhi Makhachkala because of suspension and that makes him fresh going into this game while Obi will be assessed when he comes.”

Oliseh, who watched the Nigeria Premier League game between Shooting Stars and Abia Warriors last week, refused to compare it to the years he featured for Julius Berger.
“It’s very different now because I played in the league and watched the league occasionally as an ex-player but now as a coach it will be unfair to judge them, but both teams showed glimpses of brilliance,” he said.
“Abia Warriors were a handful for 3SC even though the Ibadan team profited from a defensive error, that’s not to say that 3SC didn’t deserve to win”.
