Pulse.ng reports that the prince, who happens to be one of the
sons of the traditional ruler of Lakowe area of Ajah, Lagos state,
identified as Saheed, aka Ejo (Snake), was one of the suspected robbers
arrested for robbing motorists along Lekki-Epe Expressway during
traditional festival the community.
The monarch’s son, who allegedly runs a gang of cultists cum
hoodlums, was armed with dangerous weapons like guns, cutlasses, rods
and charms as they dispossessed their victims of valuables and injured
many in the attack, with eye witnesses report claiming that the suspects
capitalised on the curfew in the area to perpetrate their deeds.
Segun Borokini, one of the victims of the attacks, explained how he was robbed of N150,000 and his phones by the gang.
According to the man reported to be a mechanic: “They beat me up and collected my phone and N150,000 that a customer just gave to me.
“I reported to the police and they told me to go and treat myself
first. When I went back today (Thursday), I was told to pay N10,000 to
facilitate the arrest of the suspects. I left because I did not have any
money to pay.”
Only recently, a
Lagos prince identified as Wale Jimoh, was arrested alongside seven
others during initiation rites of the Eiye Confraternity at Jakande
Roundabout, Small Kuramo, Lekki, Lagos.
